January collections announced (yes plural!)

Sorry I've not posted in a while (yes I know it's awful!) but I've been busy with school and the Christmas period. I've also been selling off some tsums as I need to save money and I was running out of room for them anyway.

But it doesn't mean I can't keep posting about upcoming collections and news!

Since I've been away Clintons randomly started selling some new tsums; I've seen photos of Bing Bong, Sadness, Joy and Anger from the Inside Out Collection; White and Armoured Baymax from the Big Hero 6 collection, 101 Dalmatians Collection and Cinderella, Fairy Godmother, Jaq and Gus Gus.

On 1st December, Disney Store also announced 4 yes 4 collections for January UK release. These are:

The Lion King

Valentine's Chocolate Box Collection

Valentine's Mickey and Minnie

Minnie and Oswald

I'm still debating whether to get the lion king collection- I tend to get collections from films that are close to my heart and as I didn't see lion king until I was a bit older it doesn't have the same feeling for me as other Disney films, but it's still an amazing film and I know so many people love it and will be dying for this collection!

December Collection Announced

Hi everyone!

Sorry I've not posted for ages; school's been keeping me busy!

I'm so excited for next month's collection because I've been hoping it would hit UK shores since I saw they'd been released in Japan!

It's the extra Winnie the Pooh Characters including Lumpy, Owl, Rabbit, Gopher and Christopher Robin. It seems very odd to me that Kanga isn't being released at all here and I don't know if there's any logical reason for that.

I assume this will be the same in the US as they've had pretty much the same releases so far. (although I'm not sure about the Mickey Christmas set or the mega tsums.) They will release on the 1st December.

October Tsum Tsum Tuesday Collection Officially Confirmed

As most of you will know today is Tsum Tsum Tuesday (TTT for short!)! This month is Nightmare Before Christmas; I personally sat this one out because I'm not really a fan so my bank account is happy.

For me, it seems it'll be happy next month too as the 'Marvel: Avengers and Spiderman Collection' has been announced for next month for definite. As there have been leaks on eBay and Instagram I'm sure many people were already aware but it's nice to have some official confirmation.

As the picture states, I do believe that Spiderman will be released as a mini, medium and a large tsum.

I might buy the spiderman ones for my brother for Christmas as he's a fan but I won't be getting them for myself; I'm saving for Peter Pan which is said to be the collection for November. Really excited for that one! 

Anyway that's it for another TTT, I'll be sure to update when I get some more tsums (which will be in the next few weeks as I've got 2 on the way from the US, one from Portugal and another from Hong Kong!) I try to post news as soon as it comes but I'll be back to school soon and won't have as much time. See you soon! :D

Toy Story and Alice in Wonderland FINALLY hit Clintons online!

Literally within the last hour Clintons have released Toy Story (all) and 5 out of 8 Alice in Wonderland online, plus some mediums that Disney Store have not had in at all! Here are all of them:

They are due in stores next week so I've heard but each store will vary in when it gets a delivery.

They for some reason haven't included dormouse or march hare unfortunately I'm really wondering why as they were so rare and still very hard to find! I will update when I have received my Clintons order! (Cheeky Clintons have increased the price of the minis by 50p and decreased the price of their medium and larges by £5 so they now match the Disney stores' prices for these 2!)

Tsum Tsum Collection for September Announced!

Hi again everyone!

Next month's Tsum Tsum Tuesday will see the release of Tim Burton's 'The Nightmare before Christmas'. Now I haven't seen NBC before so I will have to watch it very soon; I don't particularly like the idea of buying Christmas themed things in September so it seems weird to me that they're going to release them next month. I don't expect to buy these as I don't really like the look of them. However I do know this collection will be very popular amongst many others!

I don't know the characters' names so I can't help there, but as you can see in the picture there will be 8 in the set, which is about average really.

This picture was actually taken from the American Disney Store site (www.disneystore.com) but staff in my store today confirmed this. They were surprised as it was thought that Marvel heroes would be next month and and NBC would be October. It is also said that Peter Pan is due for November and Frozen Fever for December; any additions to this anyone?

August Tsum Tsum Tuesday plus New Arrivals!

Hi All!

Today I went into the Derby Disney Store to buy the new Tsum Tsum set which this month is...Aladdin! I got there an hour before opening to find nobody there, so I walked past Clinton's whilst it was closed and there weren't any new tsums in their box which was a little disappointing- no idea when to expect the Toy Story or AiW sets! I went back to the DS to find 2 people there and later others joined; by the time the shop opened at 9am there were probably about 20 others! On talking to the other people there were apparently fights over the Lilo and Stitch set last month but this time it was cool and calm, the staff told us that they had a lot of tsums this time and I believe this is due to the amount of complaints Disney had over tsums last month; so it has been said 100,000 more have been manufactured this time. I was third in line and got these lovely beauties:

I'm running out of space so will probably need a wall shelf soon!

I also recently got some other tsums; Hans I bought off the lovely Eleanor from the Facebook group 'Disney Tsum Tsum Community UK', a Clinton's Pluto from my boyfriend, the elusive Pinocchio from a lovely seller on eBay from Disneyland Paris and Tinkerbell (Japan Exclusive) from Tsum Tsum Planet on eBay which I managed to get using a coupon from eBay who made me change my password after an automated email was sent out on a system error. I am also expecting Oswald from them in a couple of weeks; they are expecting a restock of him from Japan and they messaged me to say they are overdue so I will be sent it as soon as they arrive.

Tsum deliveries!

Hello everyone!

Sorry I've not been posting, but I literally got back from Crete just over 12 hours ago! Was a bit miserable to come back to rain after a week on a beautifully sunny island!

Anyway, I had some parcels today and last week of tsum tsums! I got the last 4 dwarves (only 2 now are left available on the site) and also Figaro from eBay seller 'mot-uk'; this seller sells genuine tsums, many of which are sold out, for okay prices.

 

Figaro did actually appear on DS UK online this morning but has sold out again unfortunately. However all of the Frozen set minus Hans have reappeared too!

The elusive Perry the Platypus is currently still available

I'll be signing off for now, no more tsum tsums for me until next month; my wallet's empty!

August Tsum Tsum Collection Announced!

Hi all! Tsum Tsum Tuesday for July has arrived! The Lilo and Stitch collection has been released but I don't think it's quite as popular as last month's as at time of writing this post they are still available on the Disney Store UK site!

Also, next month's collection has been revealed! It's Aladdin! I really want these, they're so cute! I'll have to watch the film again as it's been so long!

I'll be going in store hopefully to get these! I hope there aren't any queues since it's the summer holidays; there weren't any last month but as tsums are getting evermore popular this could change! 

A reminder that Clinton's cards UK will be releasing Toy Story and Alice in Wonderland tsums next month too, my wallet will be empty pretty quickly! I still need Buzz, Woody and the Alien from the Toy Story set and the Queen of Hearts, March Hare, White Rabbit and Oyster from the Alice in wonderland set!

Collection update! And news for August Tsum Tsum Tuesday!

Hi there everyone!

So yesterday and today I got some new tsum tsums! I went into Derby with my boyfriend yesterday and managed to pick up 3 out of the 4 currently available Snow White tsum tsums at Clinton's! I didn't have enough for the last one, but my mum kindly got me the last one today since I gave her a discount voucher I earned yesterday.

I also got lucky 2 weeks ago because a Jaq from the Cinderella collection popped up on eBay for an okay price so I bought him immediately. He finally arrived today after 10 days due to a dispatch delay!

The lady at the checkout in Clinton's said hopefully the other half of the Snow White tsums would be at the store soon, but the other 4 dwarves are currently still available at Disney Store UK online. The Snow White collection wasn't actually due until July at Clinton's so they have arrived a little early. Not all Clinton's have them yet, my other local one at Long Eaton didn't have them when I checked on Thursday last week, so it would be worth ringing your shop to check before you go.

I have also heard from the Facebook group I'm in that Aladdin Tsum Tsums will be August's collection (someone in the group has a friend that is a Disney Store cast member) so I'm looking forward to that! I'll have to rewatch the film as I haven't seen it for such a long time!

4 out of 8 Snow White Tsums available at Clinton's UK online NOW!

THEY HAVE ARRIVED!! Well half of the Snow White tsum tsum collection have. This afternoon Clinton's revealed on their Twitter that some of the Snow White set is available online now (Currently only Snow White, Grumpy, Dopey and Doc.) They aren't available in store yet but after asking them they told me to check with my local shop, as they weren't actually due until July (so I haven't got enough money for them yet, hoping they don't sell out so soon)

Sneak Peak of Tsum Tsum Tuesday July

Last tsum tsum Tuesday it was revealed that a Lilo and Stitch Collection will be released on 7th July in UK and US Disney Stores. This is slightly different to the one that is going to be released in Japan (see pictures below).

However in Japan, they are getting a larger and slightly different Lilo and Stitch collection on June 26th. (credit to @tsumtsumtsum on Instagram for these following Pictures.)

Pictures have also been leaked of this Stitch bag which has been confirmed for US and Japan release, not sure about the UK yet though!

What do you think about this collection? I'm going to give it a miss as I don't have so much of a 'personal connection' with Lilo and Stitch since I haven't seen any of the films for such a long time, I will be buying the Snow White collection that releases at Clinton's sometime next month since I missed a few of those when they were originally released! Inside Out Collection

This post is a little late but here it is anyway!

So as you may be aware the Inside Out collection came out last Tuesday and me, being such a saddo went in early before the shop opened to ensure I'd be the first to get some. I have heard in some places people queue up really early and fight over tsum tsums (ridiculous!) on release. I was able to get up early since I'm on study leave for exams until next week.

My Disney Store (Derby) opens at 9am on weekdays and I got there early despite the rush hour traffic and surprise surprise I was the only one there! But what really surprised me was how little there was of the new collection! There were less than 10 of each style on the tiny rack that was at the checkout. This shocked me as pictures I saw later in the day of stores nationwide and overseas had much larger stocks! Thinking back I should've taken a picture to send to Disney along with my complaint that I later made about there a) being no Fear tsum tsum at all (which I then had to order online with £4.95!!! postage and was so lucky to get one as he sold out pretty quick and I kept clicking adding to basket until one finally became available) and b) the staff were holding some back for themselves! I saw it with my own eyes! Now I go to the Disney shop fairly regularly and haven't once seen the same member of staff and that means there are a lot working there. Therefore, my reasoning for there being so little stock of Inside Out tsum tsum being that most staff are using their positions to get them, may be correct but of course I could be wrong. I took what I saw up with Disney who fully listened to my complaint (I did this through their Facebook page) and they said they'd investigate further. I hope they do, as other people were really disappointed about similar and other ways in which Disney have been handling Tsum Tsum Tuesdays.

Disney also claim that the tsum tsum collections they release each month aren't limited edition, yet they say there are no plans as of yet for a future release. Well that spells limited edition to me and a lot of others I've spoken to over social media.

Tsum Tsum parcel day! Plus my current collection...

Hi all!

So today I was really excited to receive my tsum tsum online order from Disney, I wanted to take a picture of the parcel but for some reason they were only sent in a jiffy bag instead of their really cute personalised Disney cardboard box with Mickey and Minnie Mouse on it. The courier turned up really late this afternoon and my mum took the parcel for me since I was out most of the afternoon.

I also decided to try and take a photo of my whole collection and couldn't' fit them all into one so I did a wonky panorama instead! Here it is!

I have also decided to get up early next Tuesday to go in and get the 'Inside Out' collection as they'll add even more colour to my stack....I seriously need to think about where I'm going to start storing my Tsum Tsum since my highest shelf is running a bit short on space!

Upcoming Tsum Tsum Collections @Clinton's Cards UK

Great news!

I got this from Instagram but Clinton's Cards in the UK have been handing out little cards like the one pictured that state the collections they will be stocking later this year.

I was ecstatic when I first saw this because I am yet to get any of the Snow White set and since the Toy Story and Alice in Wonderland sets sold out so quickly I am missing a few from these sets too!

Clinton's Tsum Tsums do vary very slightly as they are made by a different manufacturer to the ones made for Disney Stores, but that doesn't matter to me! I currently need Buzz, Woody and the Alien from the Toy Story Collection; The Queen of Hearts, March Hare, Baby Oyster and the White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland.

(I am also debating whether to finish my frozen set: Hans has sold out in my local Disney Store and Online but the rest are still available at the shop and I currently only have Elsa).

Inside Out Collection to be released in June!

It's official: the Inside Out Collection will be next month's 'Tsum Tsum Tuesday' Collection!

Disney Store UK online announced this on release of The Little Mermaid collection in May.

The Inside Out Stackables feature Sadness, Joy, Fear, Disgust, Anger and  Bing Bong. He's not seen in the trailers however I have heard he's the 'imaginary friend' of the film.

This collection will be released in the UK and US Disney Shops and Online on June 2nd. 

Tsum Tsums here in the UK are getting evermore popular and last month's collection sold out within half an hour of them being up online and people were queueing outside shops before they opened.

I have no idea how fast these ones will sell out as the Inside Out film isn't actually released until July 24th in the UK (it may be earlier elsewhere, I'm not entirely certain), so I will be very interested to see how quickly they're snapped up.

Personally I won't be getting these just yet but if I enjoy the film I might be tempted if there are still any left after a month! What are your thoughts on this collection?
